VISUAL IMPACT STUDY

The following images are part of a study carried out by the authors in order to determine the visual impact of the designed monorail on the respective landscapes. The investigation carried out ensured that the areas through which the monorail passed permitted a sense of human scale, so that pedestrians walking adjacent to the rail would not feel dwarfed by the system. The distance of the route to residential properties was kept as far as possible in order to avoid any intrusions of their privacy, while other modes of transport would have the clearance to pass beneath it when it was above the street.
